![]() ![]() ![]() AT BEST, once the iMac is up and running, password reset, etc., you COULD turn on some sort of screen sharing and then run the equivalent app on the iPhone, but you could never do any of that UNTIL you had already resolved the other issues first. No idea at all how you would go about doing anything involving your iPhone. (I can't remember just when they phased out FireWire but after that they moved to Thunderbolt, which is kinda like USB-C except not.) But you'll need to figure out what cable to use. You could possibly try starting the iMac in Target Disk Mode, and then connecting it to the MacBook Pro, where it will show up as an external drive. ![]() Not really sure what to tell you about not having a keyboard. Then restart and you should be good to go. the device starts an Activation window after a factory reset. Type "resetpw" and then type a new password and then type it again. When Activation Lock is enabled, the users Apple ID and password are required to erase. Then, once you're booted up in the Installer process, go to the "Utilities" and select "Terminal". You'll need to come up with a "Install Mac OS X" DVD or something comparable to boot from. ![]()
